Business Jets
Passengers travelling on business jets expect
the same level of online service they enjoy at home. However, the constraints
of the available internet connection made it impossible to offer satisfactory
streaming service at an acceptable price. Until now. Airmont-TV and Airmont-Cast ensure that all business jet passengers can enjoy their
chosen content while Streamtime drastically reduces the cost of the internet service and
ensuring that internet bills remain under control.
Mega Yachts
As world decision makers, guests on mega yachts must also be able to make adequate decisions while being on board. This requires reliable live information such as available on the given national TV.
Airmont makes this possible by answering the requirements of delivering TV on board in a highly reliable manner.
Yachts
Guests on yachts expect high-quality onboard experience and it is obvious for them that the ordinary personal entertainment, such as video streaming, is available to them. Airmont makes the best use of GEO or LEO satellite internet connection, so that the main screens can display content in High Definition and each guest is able to watch his or her own streaming content on the large screen of their rooms. Airmont gives ETOs and captains the ability to get in control of onboard streaming, so pollution of the scarce internet resource by videos can be avoided.
TRANSPORT
Airline
In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) was only based on offline movies and content, therefore limiting the value offered to the passengers. In recent years, live TV with a few channels has been provided on some flights owing to the improvement in internet speed. Airmont patented technology allows each passenger to access streaming content at a minimal charge. This solution is a game changer in the world of IFE since this gives access to passengers to their most desirable content: their own subscriptions.
Cruise
Onboard leisure has so far been limited to offline movies and free-to-air TV channels. The introduction of High Throughput Satellite (HTS) internet connection opens up the possibility for passengers to access their own content. However, the internet constraints are such that it is not possible to consider access to all content at an acceptable price. Airmont solves this challenge by isolating video streaming from the rest of the internet traffic, compresses and optimizes it to ensure smooth video experience and free internet resources.
Merchant maritime
Airmont
supports crew welfare on cargo vessels and oil platforms by enabling reliable
video streaming, with crystal-clear image quality while dramatically minimizing
internet bandwidth usage, a key advantage at sea.
We
provide a wide selection of international live TV channels, fully licensed and
uninterrupted, with absolutely no geo-restrictions. Whether relaxing after a
long shift or enjoying downtime during voyages, passengers and crew can enjoy
seamless access to their favorite content. And that’s not all. Our
solution also enables users to effortlessly cast content from their personal
devices directly to onboard screens, creating a fully connected and
personalized entertainment experience.
GEO - LEO
Airmont solution are particularly suited for traditional GEO connections such as VSAT with 1000s of hours of use in flight and at sea. Meanwhile, with the advent of LEO satellite connectivity such as Starlink and OneWeb, higher bandwidth is now available, but efficient use of this capacity remains critical. Airmont’s patented technology addresses this by shifting from individual stream delivery to mutualized, multicast-like transmission of live TV channels onboard. This approach compresses and distributes each channel once, regardless of the number of viewers, drastically reducing bandwidth usage while preserving quality. Airlines can now enhance their service offering by integrating these optimized TV feeds into their connectivity plans, converting what was once an unpredictable streaming experience into a robust, scalable feature that also opens up new monetization opportunities.
